I was a bit sick this day and neglected to notice my aperture during this 10 minute super rushed photo shoot. Also, the first time I couldn’t lift up my lighting kit up, don’t know if this was due to exhaustion or the fact that I put it into a different suit case and added a few more pieces.
Returned to the home of a previous assignment to try a get a photo illustrating germophobia. The family was super cool and let me use their beautiful kitchen and the son acted as the model. Would like to return again and do a story on the family’s adoption of young girl from Haiti.
I’ve always wanted to do an elevator shot ever since William did a real nice one of a football player a few years back. Riding up to the fifth floor to meet this quirky professor, I decided that today would be the day to accomplish this goal.
Spent half the day doing image rescues for images of a fire that had happened in this same apartment complex a week prior. Ended up not needing to, as another fire broke out there that evening.
Civil War reenactors stood guard outside of the capitol for the commemoration of Lincoln’s birthday. Very nice guys and I ended up doing my first audio slideshow.
